Why do I have to pay a DEPOSIT?
The purpose of the deposit is to secure your date + time. If you cancel last minute, I most likely would have been able to book someone else during that period. I do not write anything down in my calendar until the deposit has been paid, making your desired time slot up for grabs. Nothing is booked until the deposit has been paid.
When do I pay the remaining balance?
The remainder of your session & travel fee is due the prior to leaving your shoot. No images will be delivered until the final payment is made. The way my booking system is set up is in two increments: retainer + final payment (day of shoot).
Do I receive all the images from my session?
You only receive all the images from the shoot, if it’s specified in the package. Otherwise, all unedited images from the shoot can be purchased at an additional cost.
How & when will I receive the files?
You will receive the edited images within 7-14 business days of your session or whatever turnaround time is specified in the package. You will receive all of the files via Pixieset gallery, which is an easy + free email service. You then can send them to print, forward to your friends + family, and post online! Download links do expire after a few days, so be sure to download your images asap! Make sure to save + backup your images
How long do you store our images?
All images will be deleted on the day your Pixieset Gallery expires, which is 1 week after you receive the edits.
Can I have the RAW files?
No.
BOOKING POLICIES
At the time of booking, a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required to secure your date and time. This DEPOSIT is paid by using this website when booking your appointment. Your DEPOSIT will go towards your Total payment.
PAYMENT POLICY:
All shoots must be paid in full immediately following your shoot via cash or credit card.
*Two increments: Retainer + Final payment (Day of shoot).
LATE POLICY:
If the client runs more than 15 mins late, a surcharge fee of $50 will be added. There is a 15 minute grace period. Late arrivals result in shorter sessions. If additional time is desired by the client to retain the full photoshoot session time duration (depending on studio and photographer's availability), a $120/hr fee + additional late fees will be applied to their final invoice. Otherwise, the photoshoot session will end at the time specified in their appointment booking.
CANCELLING & RESCHEDULING:
ALL retainer fees & sessions are non-refundable. Client may reschedule the date of the portrait shoot listed above no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time as specified in the acuity confirmation email with the written approval of the Photographer. Should the Photographer be unable to accommodate the Client's rescheduled date, the Client will not be held responsible for the remaining balance of this portrait photography contract but will forfeit their initial deposit.
TURNAROUND TIME:
Clients will receive image proofs within 48 hours of their shoot. Image proofs are watermarked and unedited. 7-10 Business Day Edit Turnaround, the period BEGINS after the edits are selected via the Online Photo Gallery by client and photographer is notified via EMAIL.
(Business Days do NOT include Saturday and Sunday).
-There is a Rush Fee available for 48 Hr($225) & 72 Hr($150) business day turnaround.
-Please plan and book accordingly.
-If the client would like the unedited images without the watermark it's $15 per image or $150 for ALL images. Prices vary by the package for all images from a session without a watermark.
